Scott W. Hoffman
Scott W. Hoffman is a member in the Real Estate and Business Groups and has been practicing law for over 20 years. His practice focuses on real property, business law and secured lending, with particular emphasis on real estate acquisitions, development and sales. In recent years, Mr. Hoffman has represented several developers on various mixed use and hospitality projects and provided representation through all phases of development.
Mr. Hoffman was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts and joined the firm in 2003. He received a J.D. degree in 1998 from the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law. He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1994, as a member of Phi Kappa Phi.
Mr. Hoffman has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1999 and is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and South Palm Beach County Bar Association.

- Represented the buyer in $17m acquisition of the Century Town Center shopping center located in Vero Beach, Florida, $11.9m CMBS financing, and 1031 exchange through TIC structuring.
- Represented the buyer in $4.4m acquisition of commercial retail and warehouse space in Palm Springs, Florida and first, second and third position financing.
- Represented the buyer in $2.8m acquisition of existing 15 unit condominium building in Miami- Dade County, Florida, due diligence on condo documents, structure and title.
- Represented the seller in $6.3m asset sale for business located in Martin County, Florida.
- Represented the seller in $12m sale of single family residence located in Golden Beach, Florida.
- Represented the buyer in $4.85m acquisition of commercial warehouse in Lake Worth, Florida, and first and second position financing.
- Represented the developer of Beacon Hallandale, a 70,000 sq. ft. office condominium project, in the development process, including the commercial condominium documents, sales contracts and sales.
- Represented the developer of Mirabella Plaza, a multi-phase retail condominium project, in the development process, including the commercial condominium documents, sales contracts and sales.
- Represented the developer of Cooper Square, a commercial project with 42,000 sq. ft. of boutique retail in fee simple, in the development process, including the governing covenants and restrictions, project documents, purchase contracts and sales.
- Represented the landlord with the development of a7-Eleven gas station/convenience store under ground lease structure.
- Represented the developer of multiple single family spec homes in Palm Beach County, Florida, with the development process, including purchase contracts, sales, title and closings.
- Represented the developer of the W Fort Lauderdale mixed-use project in the development process with construction, condominium unit closings, design agreements, leases, service contracts and the hotel franchise, restaurant and bar agreements.
- Represented the developer of the Infinity at Brickell Miami mixed-use project throughout the development process in the financing, construction, condominium unit closings, bulk service agreement, title and the master, commercial and residential condominium documents.
- Represented developer of multiple of condominium and townhouse projects throughout the development process including construction, title, condominium and association documents, bulk service agreement, and unit sales.
- Represented numerous clients in the acquisition and sale of commercial and residential properties, asset & stock purchase and sales, including due diligence, title and closings.
